Taves Consumer Electronics Show takes place in Toronto from Oct 31 to Nov 2

This October 31 to November 2, TAVES Consumer Electronics Show returns to Toronto at the Sheraton Centre Hotel.  Recognized as the ultimate event for Canadians who are passionate about technology, the show will astound visitors with the latest innovations from Canadian and global leaders and give them access to technology prototypes only read about online until now. 

“For too long Canadians have looked to the big electronic shows in the US to know what was new and next in Consumer Electronics,” said Suave Kajko, TAVES president. “TAVES is curated by Canadians for Canadians, allowing consumers in our market the chance to test out the latest offerings in tech, ask questions and ultimately, come away with a better understanding of what this exciting field has to offer.”

“Having cutting edge presenters like Oculus Rift at this year’s show demonstrates how important the Canadian market is,” added Kajko. “This is one of the first times anyone will have the chance to experience first-hand what the media and insiders have been raving about for months. TAVES is letting consumers see and try what everyone is going to be using, wishing for and talking about.”  

Each demonstration, vendor and showcase has been expertly chosen to give everyone attending the chance to experience a show designed just for them:

-       Introduced for the first time in 2014, the "New Technology Arena" will enable visitors to see groundbreaking technology products and prototypes such as holographic displays, Oculus Rift, 3D printers, mind control devices, Google Glass, Tesla cars and more - many funded by Kickstarter and Indigogo crowd-funding campaigns.  

-       "JOLT Art Gallery", presented and curated by OCAD U, York University, Centennial College and the Brockton Collective, the gallery will feature over 120 original pieces of artwork from top local artists and draw a connection between consumer electronic designs and various forms of art.  

-       "Digital Photography / Imaging" area, where visitors will be able to discover some of the latest digital photography products and accessories, and speak to experts from brands including Sony and Nikon.

-       As visitors have come to expect from past editions of TAVES, the event will showcase innovations in home theatre, television and audio technology that let you experience the best in at home video, gaming and music.
