Charge devices with TP-LINK's 7-Port USB 3.0 hubs for peripherals and mobile devices

TP-LINK Canada Inc. announced two 7-port USB 3.0 hubs - the UH700 and UH720 - providing a more efficient way to manage the many USB devices found in homes and offices. Offering high-speed data transfer as well as the abiity to keep our increasing smartphones, tablets, cameras and gadgets charged.

Both models are self-powered with their own AC adapters, and can instantly add up to seven USB peripherals, such as USB flash drives, cameras, printers, mice, and tablets, to a laptop or desktop computer. The more advanced UH720 hub comes equipped with two additional high-power 2.4A charging ports and can simultaneously charge two mobile devices, including smartphones, tablets, and MP3 players.

Smart Charging

The UH720 hub boasts smart charging capabilities. A built-in intelligent chip recognizes the output of connected devices and automatically adjusts the power on each of the ports for optimal charging speeds.

The safe and reliable operation of both USB hubs is ensured by many protective features, including built-in short circuit, over-voltage, over-current, and over-heating.

Supports USB 3.0

The USB 3.0 ports offer speeds of up to 5Gbps (10 times faster than USB 2.0), making the USB hubs well suited for fast data transfers between any PC or Mac computer and USB connected devices. Both USB 3.0 Hub models are backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices.
