Huawei enters wearable tech market with TalkBand

Huawei debuts its own version of a smartwatch at MWC with the TalkBand. The wearable device features a more colorful form factor meant to appeal to a younger set of users. The device functions both as a Bluetooth headset and smartband/smartwatch. You can take out the Bluetooth headset to make a call and put it back to act as a smartwatch. While it doesn’t look to have touchscreen functionality, the device is controlled by an accompanying app.

The TalkBand features a curved 1.4-inch OLED screen, IP57 water and dust resistance, and a wristband that also works as a USB connector. The device will carry a €99 price tag.
