Review: Tech Armor SlimProtect Case for iPhone 5/5s

By Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla

Tech Armor is known for various protective covers and cases but their SlimProtect Case for the iPhone 5s offers slimline rear and side protection without weighing down Apple's jewel-like handset.

I've always preferred slim protective cases as the next best thing to not having a case at all. Phone makers like Apple go through such extraordinary lengths to make their devices visually stunning and great to the touch and it is such a shame that a lot of this gets covered up with the necessity of having a case.

The polycarbonate material provides durable protection against scuffs and scratches, and it has a tactile, rubberized finish that makes it easy to keep in your hand. If you want a cell phone case that keeps your iPhone 5S as lightweight and sleek as possible, the SlimProtect case is just what you need.

The SlimProtect Case for the iPhone 5s fits like a glove with all the necessary cut-outs for switches, buttons and ports.

The case itself feels tough and durable and feels like some sort of ballistic polymer. Its matte finish adds extra grip without adding too much extra weight.

The result is a low-profile case that's unobtrusive yet remarkably light. After a few weeks of using the Tech Armor SlimProtect Case for my iPhone 5s, I can highly reccomend it as a lightweight solution that does an ample job of protecting the rear and sides of the iPhone 5s.
