Happy Nintendo Day 2.0 !

It's Nintendo Day! So, what exactly does that mean? It's officially the launch of some pretty big game releases that we've been waiting for (with a few surprise offers) and just in time for full on holiday season. Here's what is new...

Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash (Wii U). Rated E. Volley, slice and lob with some of Nintendo’s most classic characters using some outrageous powered-up moves in this fun-filled game for the entire family. Jump high into the air and send the ball screaming down the court with the new Jump Shot, grab a Mega Mushroom to gain a HUGE advantage over opponents in Mega Battle (a mode new to the series) or execute an Ultra Smash, a devastating volley that can be difficult to return. You can even take your skills online and partner up with one of many compatible amiibo in online doubles matches.

Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon (3DS): Rated E. Continuing in the legacy of the exciting Pokémon Mystery Dungeon video games in this new release. With dungeon layouts that change every time you enter them, the fun never ends! Battle alongside Legendary and Mythical Pokémon to save the world from a crisis in a tale of unprecedented scale. Pick one of 20 Pokémon to become your partner. With the Pokémon you choose, head out on a quest to encounter all 720 Pokémon, including Legendary and Mythical Pokémon. Set off on a grand adventure as you explore ever-changing Mystery Dungeons and connect with Pokémon to save the Pokémon world!

Typoman (Wii U): Rated E 10+. (launched yesterday) Typoman is a two dimensional puzzle platformer distinguished by a unique game world. You slip into the role of the HERO struggling to make your way through a dark, surreal world. Despite your mall stature you have a powerful gift: You can use letters to alter your environment! Dive into a dark tale of heroes and monsters, where words can either be a blessing ...or a curse! Gamers who downloaded the demo during the E3 Nindies@Home program in June are eligible for a 15% discount on the purchase of the full version game. This offer is valid until December 19... download the game from Nintendo eShop on Wii U

Nintendo Day marks the one year anniversary of amiibo, and with this, Nintendo has re-released some amiibo fan favourites including Charizard, Little Mac, Greninja, and Falco at select retailers. Making their debuts on Nintendo Day are Mewtwo, Mii Fighters 3-pack and Green Yarn Yoshi.

There are some pretty amazing deals happening today as well so if you're checking off your holiday list you'll want to see what offers are on now. Visit Nintendo Day 2.0 for more details.
