Chronos brings smart functionality to traditional chronographs

A traditional watch fan that wishes you can get some of the capabilities of a smartwatch? Your solution is a device like device like Chronos. This small disk fits into the underside of a watch and sticks to it using micro-suction. It can fit into roughly 80 percent of watches out on the market.

It brings with some of the core smartwatch functionalities and has a companion iOS and Android app. It makes use of Bluetooth 4.0 to feed you notifications. It buzzes slightly when you get a new email or text message and lights up if you need the visual reminder. It also comes with an accelerometer so it can do light fitness tracking. The battery is said to last for about 36 hours. The Chronos retails for US$99 and is available for pre-order at the moment. Shipping is expected in the Spring of 2016.
