Clef set to revolutionize website logins

Companies are constantly looking for ways to change how we log into sites. And Clef has found a unique approach. They have created a two-step verification system that makes use of an animated wave on your phone to confirm your identity. A lot of sites use two-step verification but that is usually on top of passwords and it needs a numerical code, which can admittedly be troublesome to put in.

Clef has a simpler approach, you just wave your phone at the screen and it signs you in. Of course, there is a PIN or Touch ID confirmation at the start. It works on both Wi-Fi and cell networks. And as a backup, you can scan the phone’s screen with your laptop’s camera. It just makes use of a unique wave generated by your phone to confirm your identity. It will even let you securely log out of your accounts if you think suspicious activity is happening with your account. Over 40,000 sites are using Clef and they hope to get larger organizations to use their service. The app is available on Android and iOS.
