Re-imagined for the modern office, which means less space per employee, the smaller LaserJets were redesigned from the toner technology level and feature secure cloud-enabled computing plus the fastest duplex printing performance on any colour laser printers in the market today.

New York - HP hosted a press and analyst event today in New York City to launch their most revolutionary LaserJet Printers since the product originated back in 1984. Built around a breakthrough in toner technology, the new Colour LaserJet Pro M252, HP LaserJet Pro MFP M277 and HP Colour LaserJet Enterprise M522 and M533. Use 53 per cent less power, while printing 33 per cent more pages in a smaller footprint.

“Business customers are looking for smart, affordable solutions that seamlessly integrate into today’s smaller, more communal work spaces” said Tuan Tran, HP's  vice president and general manager for
LaserJet Hardware and Technology.
Re-imagined for the modern office, which means less space per employee, the smaller LaserJets were redesigned from the toner technology level and feature secure cloud-enabled computing plus the fastest duplex printing performance on any colour laser printers in the market today.
The toner cartridge has been re-engineered to deliver more pages, use less energy and affect less internal wear on the printer.

Original HP Toner cartridges with JetIntelligence deliver up to 33 percent more professional-quality pages,3peak printing performance, and protection against counterfeits with innovative anti-fraud technology.

With its durable shell and soft core, Color Sphere 3 toner offers consistently glossy, professional-quality results and is specifically designed to keep up with the high-speed performance of HP LaserJet printers and MFPs. The result is higher page yields from a more compact and energy-efficient printer.

The printers demoed here today performed various new functions seamlessly. What caught my attention was the ability to print documents from mobile devices via NFC as well as the capability to print Microsoft native Word and PowerPoint documents directly from a USB stick (meaning no need to find a PC, launch Office apps, open the document, find a printer and print). The printers showed here had built-in intelligence as well as securte cloud capabilities.
Ideal for SMB's, entrepreneurs and startups, the secure printing feature allows users on notebooks, tablets or smartphones to send a print job to HP's Cloud and then use a proximity card, a PIN number or password to access the print job from the cloud before printing.
HP's new LaserJet printers are coming to Canada via channel suppliers starting April 1.
