Google’s self-driving cars to hit California roads

If you find yourself in Mountain View, California this summer, you might be greeted by Google’s self-driving vehicles. The tech company is gearing up to test their prototype vehicles. These prototypes are using the same software on Google’s existing fleet of self-driving Lexus RX450h SUVs. The new prototypes have their speed capped at 25mph. These cars will also have safety driver aboard with a removable steering wheel, accelerator pedal, and brake pedal.
