XBox One to offer native backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 titles

Like fine wine, gaming great gaming consoles get better with age. Microsoft has listened to XBox one gamers and finally figured out how to add backward compatibility to the XBox One. This means that Xbox One will be the only console to support backward compatibility natively, for free, and all with next-gen features like screenshot, broadcasting and Game DVR.

Building a virtual Xbox 360 in software on the XBox One, the system now recognizes XBox 360 discs and will download the games into the XBox One for playing, all the achievements and other attachments to the game should also be easily imported. This is tremendous news for gamers that have amassed a large number of titles and who wish to consolidate their system into one. 100 games will intially be available as more are added. This news is huge for gamers wanting to continue playing older games that might not have XBox One versions.
