Google Inbox now auto-suggests reminders from your email

Whether you’ve accepted that Google sweeps through your email for keywords or whatnot, you’re getting new handy features for it. Google Inbox is adding another element to make it easier to keep track of your to-do list. The app now makes use of Google’s natural language understanding feature to look if a particular email needs to be turned into something actionable. You’ll be prompted by the app to make a reminder. If you chose to do that, it’ll join your Inbox messages, notify you when the specified time and place comes up, and it’ll be kept in your Reminders tab until you decide to delete it.

This feature also ties in with Google Keep and it even shows up on your Google Now stream. When you make reminders now with Keep, those also show up on your Inbox. You can choose to view them within the email app or you can tap on the link to take you to Keep. This feature works on the web and iOS as well.
