Apple expanding Apple Watch line with new colours and fashion collaborations

San Francisco - Apple has expanded the model options and accessories for the Apple Watch. After showing off a Hermes Edition which has an exclusive Hermes face and leather bracelet, the company showed off new rose gold and gold finish for the aluminium Sport model as well as a few other variants.

Apple also showed off various new colours of their Fluoroelastomer Sport Bands in muted as well as bright hues. They also showed off a Product Red version Sport Band. watchOS 2, which will bring native apps as well as new features and complications will be made available for free on September 16.

This special edition variant starts at $1,500 (CAD) for the 38 mm stainless steel case and becomes more expensive based on size, strap or material. Apple seems to be pushing the fashion and accessories angle for the Apple Watch hard and also announced an assortment of coloured bands for the wearable.
