Dr. Dre might be going the R-rated route for Apple’s first original TV series

As you know, Dr. Dre joined Apple in 2014 when the company bought Beats back then. It seems he’ll be taking charge of the new and first Apple-produced TV series. Supposedly called “Vital Signs,” the semiautobiographical series will have six episodes and will supposedly include tons of sex and violence, including an extended orgy scene. This seems unlike what Apple is putting out with its rigidly define moral principles and its refusal to put pornography on the App Store. But if that is what gets them head-to-head with other big tech players like Amazon and Netflix, whose original content have been garnering them attention and awards, we’re not surprised if they take this route.

The show will supposedly be distributed through Apple Music and it isn’t clear if other Apple products and platforms will be tapped. Perhaps that oft-rumoured television service might be making its appearance? We can’t say until Apple confirms the existence of the show, which they aren’t commenting on at the moment.
