Quantum Break fuses live action, immersive gameplay and suspense, comes tomorrow

Microsoft Studios and Remedy Entertainment revealed a new trailer for Quantum Break, highlighting the game’s story and the star-studded cast. Fans can expect Quantum Break’s narrative to be brought to life through a unique gaming experience that seamlessly blends pulse-pounding gameplay with high-quality, live-action entertainment. The game will be available for digital download and purchase in stores starting tomorrow.

The trailer provides a glimpse at the nefarious corporation Monarch Solutions, and features a tense confrontation between Quantum Break’s hero Jack Joyce (Shawn Ashmore – “X-Men: Days of Future Past”) and villain Paul Serene (Aidan Gillen – “Game of Thrones”), who poses one of time travel’s greatest questions – is it truly possible to alter the past to change the future?

I've played a couple of hours of Quantum Break and enjoyed the pace and plot while learning new time-based powers that require um, timing and strategy. The story moves forward like a movie or a TV show but with many unexpected turns and sudden twists.

In Quantum Break, the difficult choices you are challenged to make in the game ripple throughout the entire story, impacting the events of both the game and integrated live-action entertainment to create an action-packed, modern-day thriller that can be experienced in different ways.

Every copy of Quantum Break for Xbox One will come with a full-game download for Alan Wake for Xbox 360, plus its two add-on packs, The Signal and The Writer, playable on Xbox One via Backward Compatibility. Alan Wake and its add-on packs will also be included in the Xbox One Special Edition Quantum Break Bundle, which features a 500 GB Cirrus White console with a matching wireless controller, and is available for pre-order at $299 for a limited time.

In addition, anyone who pre-orders the Xbox One digital version of Quantum Break through the Xbox Store, purchases an Xbox One digital token at participating retailers or pre-orders an Xbox One Quantum Break bundle that includes the title as a digital download token by April 4th will receive the Windows 10 version of the game, downloadable at the Windows Store via redemption code.
