D-Link releases HomeKit compatible Onma 180 Cam HD IP camera

Apple HomeKit aficionados now have a compatible IP camera in the new D-Link Omna 180 Camera HD , which is now available in Canada for $269.95 at Apple stores and online. Omna’s HomeKit integration allows users to be “always home” and includes advanced security features with end-to-end encryption and authentication between the camera and an iPhone or iPad.

The first in D-Link’s Omna family of HomeKit enabled devices, the Omna 180 Cam HD provides an easy way for users to monitor their homes for peace of mind. When activity is detected, users will receive a rich notification on their lock screen, delivered via the Apple Home app, showing a live feed from the camera. Users can even access their Omna remotely to see what’s happening in their home in real time.

Siri always works effortlessly with the D-Link Omna 180 Camera HD. Homeowners can ask Siri things like:

  • "Siri, what’s happening in the living room/baby’s room/nursery, etc.?"
  • “Siri, show me the living room/baby’s room/nursery camera?"
  • "Siri, show me all of my cameras.”
