Jaybird introduces new wire-free headphones for runners

Jaybird introduces two new headphones designed specifically with runners in mind. The first one boasts of a truly wire-free experience: the Jaybird RUN True Wireless Sport Headphones. It promises customizable sound and a secure, comfort-fit, sweat-proof, and water-resistant experience.

With a double hydrophobic nano coating, the RUN True Wireless Sport Headphones will protect itself from any sweat or water damage. It comes with interchangeable tips and fins for different ear sizes. It comes in Drift (white with silver metal accents) and Jet (black with silver metal accents). You can get four hours of music on a single charge and its accompanying pocket-sized charging case adds eight more hours of use. A five-minute charge will give you an hour of play time.

An intuitive control button will let you take calls, start and stop music, skip tracks, and activate either Siri or Google Assistant. It makes use of the latest wireless Bluetooth technology to make sure you get rich sound without dropping its connection. It also comes with a special design that allows for one-ear use so you can listen to music on your run but still be kept aware of your surroundings. The accompanying Jaybird App will help you customize the sound and located your headphones with the Find My Buds feature.

On top of this, Jaybird redesigns its compact FREEDOM headphones with the FREEDOM 2 with SpeedFit. This time these get better fit and greater comfort but still comes with the customizable sound that Jaybird promises. It has softer, more flexible combined tips and fins and as mentioned, the integrated cord management system Jaybird calls SpeedFit.

Both headphones will be available worldwide next month and can be pre-ordered from their site, Best Buy, and Amazon. The RUN retails for US$179.99, while the FREEDOM 2 goes for US$149.99.
