OnePlus starts rolling out Android Oreo update for the 5T through OxygenOS Open Beta 1

OnePlus has previously announced it was bringing the Android Oreo update to the OnePlus 5T through its beta program before the year ends. That day has come. The company has pushed out the update through the Oxygen Open Beta 1, which will bring various Oreo features to OnePlus’s flagship. The update also brings with it Android fixes for December. Launcher

  • Optimized the app shortcut style
  • Combine icon options with app shortcuts
  • Now able to upload photos to Shot on OnePlus

System

  • Added Picture in Picture
  • Added Auto-Fill
  • Added Smart Text Selection
  • New Quick Settings design
  • Updated Android security patch to December
