Razer Phone now supports HDR content on Netflix

If you’re a big Netflix user and own a Razer Phone, you’ll love the latest update rolling out to the device. A new firmware update will take advantage of the device’s HDR10 capabilities and will now let you watch Netflix original shows in HDR, meaning they’re going to look more vivid and have a wider range of colors. On top of that, the update also enables Dolby Digital 5.1 for the Razer Phone’s dual loudspeakers, making this smartphone the first one to support both technologies.

The update also brings with it the latest Android security patch for January 2018, improvements to the camera software, and a new theme store. Since the update is rolling out in stages, it may or may not have gotten to your device just yet so just be patient.
