Are we finally getting an 18:9 Sony Xperia Compact?

Is the nex Sony Xperia Compact going to be bezel-less?

Is Sony finally ready to leave behind its 16:9 displays? A new FCC certification suggests this might be a possibility. It shows a Sony Xperia Compact with a tall aspect ratio—or at least that’s what the dimensions suggest. Based on the description, it has a 5-inch screen (126mm) with 135.43 x 64.63mm measurement. If you compare this with the Xperia XZ1 Compact with its 129 x 64mm measurement, it has the same width but it’s shorter. The FCC certification only shows the display diagonal and not the aspect ratio or sides. GSMArena tried to compare these measurements to see how it would look. Whether we’d see this device soon is not something we can say just yet. But it does give us some pretty good evidence that perhaps Sony is ready to let go of its bezels.
