‘PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’ comes to Canada on Android in beta

Fans of the battle royale-style game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds have been waiting for the game to make its way to mobile devices and lucky for us it made its way here first—with a few caveats, though. PUBG quietly appeared on the Google Play Store over the weekend here in Canada but this officially licensed port is still in beta and is limited to one region for testing purposes. The game’s creators confirmed on Facebook it will cover “a whole lot more regions in the future” but they want to make sure the game is ready for a wider release. If we’re going to be technical about it, China already has mobile versions of PUBG on its iOS store but it isn’t easy getting access to that outside of the country.
