Huawei’s solution to an almost all-screen display is a hole instead of a notch

We’ve seen notches, retractable cameras, but what else can be done to get more screen out of a smartphone? Huawei’s solution seems to be making a hole in the display for the selfie camera. It looks similar to what Essential has done but instead of linking it to the top of the device, it’s a cut-out at the top center of the screen. According to leaked internal documents, this concept will also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. Huawei shows this implementation off on a 6-inch LCD display. What do you think? Is this implementation something you’d want on your next smartphone?
