Sony names 9 devices expected to get Android Pie update

Nine for Android 9. Sony just announced which of its current smartphone lineup can expect to get Android Pie update. These include the Sony Xperia XZ2, XZ2 Premium, XZ2 Compact, Xperia XZ Premium, XZ1, XZ1 Compact, XA2, XA2 Ultra, and XA2 Plus. And the owners of these devices don’t have to wait for long as the update will start hitting devices in November. Sony didn’t specify a date but the following models will “be among the first” to get the update: Xperia XZ2, XZ2 Premium, XZ2 Compact, Xperia XZ Premium, XZ1, and XZ1 Compact. For those who own the XA2, XA2 Ultra, and XA2 Plus, you’ll need to wait a bit longer as the update will hit these devices sometime in “early 2019.”
