Apple launches $329 premium AirPods Pro

The Apple AirPods gets a premium version in the form of the $329 AirPods Pro. It brings with it features like noise-cancelling and water-resistance. It also gets a new look as well with an in-ear Bluetooth design that comes with three tips in the box.

The noise cancellation in the AirPods Pro uses the built-in microphones to monitor ambient sound and cancel those out. At the same time, these in-ears offer a new Transparency mode that lets you hear what's happening around you even with the earbuds in.

The AirPods Pro has IPX4 water- and sweat-resistance, which means you can take it with you when you work out. The in-ears uses Apple's H1 chip (seen in the second-generation AirPods), Bluetooth 5.0, and feature Hey Siri integration.

Its new case is broader and shorter than the standard AirPods' case. This time, it offers wireless Qi charging already along with a Lightning connection. Apple includes a Lightning-to-USB-C cable in the box.

Battery life is still the same at 4.5 hours of listening time on a single charge, or up to five hours if active noise cancellation and transparency are off. Talk time is up to 3.5 hours. The charging case adds 24 hours of extra listening time and over 18 hours of talk time. Apple claims that five minutes of charging in the case can get up to one hour of listening or talk time.

The AirPods Pro comes out tomorrow, October 30th.
