Report: Apple iPhone XR is the best-selling phone of 2019 so far

Counterpoint Research recently released its list of best-selling smartphones of Q3 2019, and the device that tops the list isn't even Apple's newest iPhone. The market research firm reported the entry-level flagship iPhone XR is the best-selling smartphone of the year so far. Interestingly, Samsung's flagship handset didn't make the list. The top 10 is composed of a mix of Samsung, Apple, and Chinese brands:

  • iPhone XR
  • Samsung Galaxy A10
  • Samsung Galaxy A50
  • Oppo A9
  • iPhone 11
  • Oppo A5s
  • Samsung Galaxy A20
  • Oppo A5
  • Xiaomi Redmi A7
  • Huawei P30
