'The Mandalorian' will come back for Season 2 on Disney+ in fall 2020

Disney

With the first season wrapped up after the December 27 finale, The Mandalorian will be coming back for a second season in the fall of 2020. The Star Wars show's creator Jon Favreau confirmed on Twitter that it would be back on Disney+. He didn't specify a date, though. But we will be waiting for future announcements.

Taking place five years after The Return of the Jedi, The Mandalorian follows a lone Mandalorian bounty hunter as he tries to protect The Child, a younger "Baby Yoda" (as the world has dubbed it), from the galaxy's villains. The show stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito, and Taika Waititi.
