‘Super Hexagon’ creator will release ‘Dicey Dungeons’ on August 13th

If you’re familiar with twitch-reflex challenge Super Hexagon, the indie designer behind the game Terry Cavanagh has a new game coming out you might want to check out. Dicey Dungeons is a new game about beating the odds. You’re a six-sided warrior, witch, thief, robot, jester, or inventor, and you need to make it to the end of a dungeon run to outdo Lady Luck herself. Your attacks and abilities require certain dice rolls to activate. PCGamer calls it a cross between Yahtzee and Tharsis. You have several rerolls, splits, and tweaks that you can apply to mitigate the randomness of the game. It’ll be out on August 13 on Steam and itch.
