Apple hides AR Easter egg on iPhone 12 event site

As you probably already know, Apple will be holding its iPhone 12 event next week on Tuesday, October 13, at 10 am PDT. Hoping to get iOS users excited, Apple hides an Easter egg on its Events website. Tap on the "Hi, Speed" event's image on your iPhone and iPad to get a hidden augmented reality experience.

It'll show an interactive animation that transforms the floating circles into many orbs with the date "10.13" at the center. You can swipe and spin the animation to see it from any angle, and the graphic transitions between the circular graphic and exploding orbs.

Apple is expected to launch four iPhone 12 models. Products like AirPods Studio and AirTag item trackers are expected to make an appearance, too.
