Here's a trailer of Studio Ghibli's first CG animated film

Earwig and the Witch will not be like any other Studio Ghibli film you've seen in the past. For one, it's the studio's first fully computer-generation animation. Even with a different style, there's still hope that it has the classic Miyazaki touch as Hayao's son Goro is directing the film. It will premiere on Japanese broadcaster NHK on December 30, and it's expected to hit North American theatres in early 2021 (given that they're open, of course).

For now, you can just take a peek at the trailer, which is understandably in Japanese. It follows Aya's story, an orphan who was taken from her home by a strange pair. She then discovers that she's a witch's daughter.
