Dating app Badoo uses AI to block unsolicited dick pics

 

Badoo might not be the first dating app to do this. But the company is leveraging artificial intelligence to prevent unsolicited dick pics from men. The "Private Detector" can spot detect intimate pictures like dick pics, nudes, and the like before they make their way to you. The algorithm will initially blur these images, warning you that you've been sent "inappropriate content." It's your prerogative whether you want to view the picture, block it, or report it to the company. The company says it has a 98% accuracy rate.

Badoo's UK YouTube account announced the feature through a spoof infomercial starring rapper Big Narstie, which you can watch above.
