TCL 10 Pro, 10L to come to Canada on July 10

TCL will be launching the 10 Pro and 10L on Friday, July 10. The handset will be available through Bell, TELUS, Virgin Mobile, Koodo, and Best Buy. Those who purchase the TCL 10 Pro from Best Buy between July 10 and 16 and register themselves at tclpromo.ca will qualify to get a free 43-inch TCL TV worth $319.99.

The two handsets are priced as follows:

Bell

  • TCL 10L $350, or monthly at $13.17
  • TCL 10 Pro $700, or monthly at $25.23

TELUS

  • TCL 10L $345, or monthly at $13
  • TCL 10 Pro $665, or monthly at $26

Koodo and Virgin Mobile are expected to have similar pricing.

The TCL 10 Pro is the more premium handset with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, TCL UI based on Android 10, 6GB of RAM, 128GB expandable storage, and 4,500mAh battery. It comes with a 6.47-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display, in-display fingerprint scanner, glass back and aluminum frame, and a quad-camera setup at the back, including a 64-megapixel primary lens, a 16-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth camera. The front-facing camera is a 24-megapixel sensor.

The TCL 10L is a more midrange offering with a Snapdragon 665 chipset, TCL UI based on Android 10, 6GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB expandable storage, and 4,000mAh battery. It has a slightly bigger 6.53-inch LCD panel with the same FHD+ resolution as the 10 Pro. It sports four cameras at the back, including an 8-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. In front, there's a single 16-megapixel camera.
