Samsung's The Terrace is designed for outdoor TV watching

As its name suggests, the new The Terrace television from Samsung is meant for those who want to take their TV viewing outdoors. The new TV joins the other lifestyle TVs from the company, including The Sero and The Frame.

Built for the outdoors, it comes with an IP55 rating for dust- and water-resistance, and it can withstand temperatures between -30 and +50 degrees Celsius.

Its QLED 4K display gets an average brightness of 2,000 nits and a peak brightness levels of 4,000 nits since visibility outdoors is essential. And The Terrace continually adapts with the help of Adaptive Picture Technology.

As for sound, The Terrace comes with its soundbar built for outdoor acoustics, too. And yes, it has an IP55 ingress rating. The TV and the soundbar are controlled using the same Wi-Fi/Bluetooth remote.

It's now sold in Germany in 55-, 65-, and 75-inch sizes and priced at €3,898 (around CA$6,029), €4,872 (CA$7,535), and €6,335 (CA$9,798), respectively.
