Twitter launches Super Follows in US and Canada for iOS users

Source: Twitter

Twitter has now officially launched its Super Follow, a new feature that lets creators introduce subscriber-only content for a fee. It's designed to help content creators monetize their tweets and earn on the platform.

It's first rolling out to iOS users in the US and Canada, but it'll be available globally in the coming weeks, at least for iOS users. If you want to subscribe, you can tap the Super Follow button on an account's profile to see pricing details. Right now, Supper Follow tweets are only viewable on iOS.

There's a waiting list for US content creators to try the feature, but it's only accessible to those with 10,000 or more Twitter follows. Creators can share Super Follows Tweets on iOS for now.

Creators who plan to use Super Follow can charge US$2.99, $4.99, or $9.99 per month. You are eligible to keep up to 97% of revenue until a $50,000 threshold is reached. After that, you can earn up to 80% after in-app purchase fees.
