Samsung's new Eco Remote turns router radio waves into energy

Source: Samsung

Samsung has a new iteration of its solar-charging remote, adding a new way to stay charged. The Samsung 2022 Eco Remote now converts routers' radio waves into energy to charge it. As Engadget pointed out, it's a smart move, given that these radio wave energies go untapped.

The Eco Remote has a solar panel on the back, and it's made with recycled materials. It does what any other Samsung remote does. It also has quick access to streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video. It is also now available in black and white to make it easier to match with Samsung's existing lifestyle TVs.
