Hello Games has officially updated No Man's Sky to add new virtual reality features, expand its lore, and bring new experiences to the game. This free update is called Interceptor. And it brings a new corruption throughout the universe, which gives rise to new enemies. There's also a new Starship you can collect, which is powered by new technology and equipped with new features.

The game also gets visual improvements and new features for VR, including wrist interface controls. There are also Xbox-focused improvements for a smooth and consistent frame rate in the game. Interceptor is available for download on the PC, the PS4 and the PS5, the Xbox One and Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and virtual reality.
