MacWhisper's latest update lets you view entire transcript as one piece

MacWhisper is a macOS app that lets you transcribe audio and video files into text on your Mac. The developer of MacWhisper, Jordi Bruin, has recently released version 3.0 of the app with several enhancements.

One of them is Display Mode, which shows you the whole transcript as a single text. You can easily switch between Display Mode the other modes. You can also export batch transcription files, export these to DOTE file format, and export a full transcript text file.

It uses OpenAI’s Whisper technology to process your files locally, without sending them to any online server. This ensures your privacy and security. The app supports multiple languages, such as English, Chinese, Spanish, and Portuguese. You can use MacWhisper to subtitle your videos, transcribe podcasts, or capture audio from system apps like Zoom or FaceTime. Moreover, MacWhisper now runs 40% faster thanks to some performance improvements.

MacWhisper is a free app that works with macOS Ventura or later. However, if you want to use the Medium and Large transcription models, you need to buy MacWhisper Pro. The app works best on a Mac with an M1 chip or higher.
