Oreo enters the world of Nintendo's Super Mario

In partnership with Nintendo, OREO invites fans to collect character-embossed cookies and save the Mushroom Kingdom! OREO, has teamed up with Nintendo to release limited-edition cookies inspired by the world of Super Mario™ and is sending fans on a mission to help Mario and the other heroes stop Bowser.

"OREO loves to create new ways for our fans to stay playful and we're proud to announce our partnership with the iconic Super Mario franchise", said Lexie Lubov, Associate Brand Manager of OREO. "The similar fandom between OREO and Super Mario made this cookie collaboration a natural fit and we're super excited to bring this new offering to Canadians".

The limited-edition OREO x Super Mario cookies feature 16 unique embossments including Super Mario characters and Power-ups, such as iconic heroes Mario and Luigi, a Super Star, and enemies like a Goomba and Bowser Jr. Each pack offers a new adventure for fans to discover some of the 16 different Super Mario designs. By the way, the classic Double Stuf creme packs are filled at random and do not necessarily contain cookies with all 16 embossments. In fact, Bowser-embossed cookies will be the hardest to find!

Powering up this fun partnership! OREO lovers might also notice that Princess Peach is missing! It will be up to us superfans try and stop the trouble-making Bowser from taking over her castle! The challenge? On the rim of a glass of milk, stack as many hero-embossed cookies as possible atop a Bowser cookie until he is defeated (a.k.a. the cookies fall into the milk). The OREO x Super Mario cookies will begin rolling out at retailers nationwide in early July and are available for a limited time only.
