While Apple has a wave of new iPad and Mac hardware on the horizon, including potential releases this month, the company won't be hosting a dedicated launch event.

According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple will instead announce the new iPad Pro, iPad Air, and MacBook Air via press releases and online marketing materials, including website updates, videos, and campaigns.

Gurman, in his latest Power On newsletter, emphasizes that Apple has a lot in store for the coming month despite the lack of a full-blown event. This includes:

  • New iPad Pro models with OLED displays
  • New iPad Air lineup, featuring the first 12.9-inch iPad Air
  • New M3 MacBook Air
  • New Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro

As for the release timeframe, Gurman suggests that Apple is prepping a "special version of iOS 17.4 with support for the new hardware" for launch by the end of March. Based on this, he predicts the devices themselves "to arrive sometime in March or April."
