Photoshop finally lands on Windows Phone

Windows Phone users have been excluded for quite some time from using Adobe Photoshop on their devices. The wait is now finally over as Adobe finally released Photoshop Express on the platform. Now, you can do your Photoshop magic on your Windows Phone device before you flaunt your creations on your social network of choice. Some of the filters and “looks” may require you to buy them within the app though. But the app itself is available for free download here. 

Adobe announces all new 2014 release of Creative Cloud

Adobe,  the leader in creative software, today continued to drive Creative Cloud innovation by announcing 14 new versions of CC desktop applications, including essential tools such as Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe Dreamweaver CC and Adobe Premiere Pro CC. The biggest Adobe software release since CS6, it also includes four new mobile apps, the immediate availability of creative hardware, updates to Creative Cloud services and new offerings for enterprise, education and photography customers. Yesterday, Adobe announced that there are now over 2.3 million Creative Cloud subscriptions, far exceeding original projections when it was unveiled two years ago.

Adobe drives consistency across rich-content mobile apps and websites

Adobe today announced the integration of its digital publishing platform, Adobe Digital Publishing Suite (DPS), and Web experience management solution, Adobe Experience Manager, part of Adobe Marketing Cloud. This new integration, in combination with Adobe Analytics, enables publishers and brands to create, deliver and measure experiences across content-rich apps, like digital magazines, and the Web using one set of assets.

Adobe Lightroom 5.3 test version supports new cameras

A new test version of Adobe Lightroom 5.3 now supports some of the latest cameras such as Fujifilm X-E2, Sony A7R, Olympus OM-D E-M1, Canon PowerShot S120, Panasonic GM1, and Nikon D610 SLR. It also supports Fujifilm XQ1, Nikon Phase One IQ260 and IQ280 as well as Coolpix P7800. Preliminary support is also given to the Nikon D5300, Olympus Stylus 1 and Sony DSC-RX10.

Adobe has also remedied some bugs like how Flickr takes over Lightroom when you export and you can only view images you’ve published on the platform unless you restart the Adobe program.
