HTC One M8 Google Play edition gets Android 5.1 update

Android 5.1 makes its way to HTC One M8 Google Play edition without much fanfare. The update clocks in at 244MB large. It tweaks how notifications interruptions are handled and it introduces animations and cosmetic changes. Of course, the usual bug fixes are in there as well. There isn't any word on how wide the rollout is but it should be coming your way soon.
