Apple announces one day special shopping event on Nov 25

Apple today announced its one day special holiday shopping event taking place this Friday, November 25. There will be special pricing and exclusive deals on the season’s hottest gifts in Apple Retail and on the App Store. Items and products sold duirng this period will benefit from free delivery and returns. It must be noted that Apple has refrained from offering 'Black Friday' sales, often giving its resellers and online retailers the option to sell Apple products at a discounted rate. While we still don't know which products will be getting the discount treatment, it will be a good time to check out accessories, peripherals or maybe even a new Mac or iPad.

Roku's got streaming player deals for Black Friday Weekend

Roku's announced Black Friday deals to help consumers plan their streaming shopping strategy this holiday season. The company is offering deep discounts on three Roku players that meet a variety of streaming needs: the Roku 3 with voice search for $79.99; the tiny and portable Roku Streaming Stick for $39.99; and the limited-time, limited-quantity Roku SE for $25. These deals will be available online and in store from national retailers.

Where To Get The Best Nintendo Black Friday Deals

First of all, a very Happy Thanksgiving to our friends south of the border. Us here in Canada thank you for giving some of us the urge to have turkey (again). Most of all, thank you for introducing us to Black Friday (yes, and Cyber Monday too!). 

For those of us who like to get a head start on our holiday shopping, Black Friday is a gift in itself. If you're a savvy shopper you know that some of the best deals of the gift-giving season start now. I honestly don't mind saving a a dollar, or several hundreds, ahead of the crush. It also helps spread out the bills so I'm not so shell-shocked come January.
