Dell unveils new Venue tablets

Dell Venue 8 Pro

There is a new line of Dell Venue tablets ranging from 8- to 11-inch Windows-powered tablets to 7- to 8-inch Android devices. The Venue 8 Pro ($299.99) and Venue 11 Pro ($549.99) are Windows 8.1 tablets with Microsoft Office integration and additional security services such as Dell Enterprise. The tablets can run up to 4th generation Intel Core i5 processors. Meanwhile, the Venue 7 ($149.99) and Venue 8 ($179.99) devices are Android-based tablets running on Intel Atom Z2760 Clover Trail processors.

Dell introduces laptop with Retina Display-busting resolution

Dell has introduced a slew of new devices and upgrades but what caught our attention is the new XPS 15. A 15.6-inch touch-based laptop with a whopping 3200 x 1800 pixel Quad HD+ display, beating Apple’s 2880 x 1800 MacBook Pro.  The XPS 15 runs on the new Intel Haswell processors, up to 512GB SSD storage, and claims of up to 13 hours of battery life.
