You can get 'Star Wars Battlefront 2' for free on Epic Games Store

If you mean to check out Star Wars Battlefront II, you might want to check out the Epic Games Store this week. The Star Wars Battlefront II: Celebration Edition is free over at Epic's store. It includes all the customization content you can get through in-game purchases released through December 20, 2019.

To access the free game, you have to get it before January 21 is over. The title will be tied to your Epic Games Store account, so, of course, it is only playable on the PC. After the 21st, Epic will be offering Galactic Civilizations III for free until January 28.

Epic Games Store offers 'Into the Breach' for free

The newest free game on the Epic Games Store is the critically acclaimed, turn-based strategy game Into the Breach. The game joins many other titles on the storefront that Epic Games gives away for a week. This won't be the first time Epic Games has given away Into the Breach. Back in December 2019, this title was part of the Epic Game Stores' "12 Days of Free Games" event. If you don't have it yet and want to try it out, you have until September 10 to get this 2018 game.

Epic Games Store tests achievements on 'Ark: Survival Evolved'

Epic has been trying to add achievements to the Epic Games Store for a while now. The company has taken the first step, adding the feature to Ark: Survival Evolved for starters. It now shows achievements as they are unlocked. The company seems to be rolling this out bit by bit. So if it's a feature you're waiting for, unfortunately, you might still need to wait a bit.

Some of the other plans Epic has for its Games Store include mod support for games, dynamic price adjustments for bundles, and a "Trending" category on the storefront.
