Facebook lets you control app access more with new App Settings page

Facebook is making it easier for you to see which apps are attached to your Facebook account with a revamped App Settings page. There is now a simpler way to edit the apps you use and which ones can see your timeline and other information as well as if you want your friends to see the sites you are visiting. It even lets you adjust the privacy settings of older Facebook mobile apps. You can check it out for yourself here.

See only the posts you want to see with new Facebook iOS app update

Facebook has updated its iOS app to allow users to select which updates they want to see in their News Feed. While the News Feed generally measures different parameters to show you what they think is relevant for you, it isn’t always accurate. Now, the social network is giving you more control over what you want to see. iOS users can also now view videos a user uploaded in one album.

Facebook updates Windows Phone app to add start screen notifications

Facebook has updated its beta app for Windows Phone to add a few new features. The social network added a second Live Tile to let you pin events, groups, chats, and the like on your home screen. Meanwhile, the primary tile can display updates from your friends directly on the start screen. If you use messaging feature on the app, you also now get stickers and emoticons to bug or amuse your friends with.
