Gearbox Software/2K Games

Epic's annual game sale is back. And for this first week of the Epic Games Store Mega Sale, the free game is Borderlands 3. Since it kicked off on the 19th, the game will only be available until May 26 at 11 a.m. EDT. Of course, you'll only get the base version. But you can get all the additional content and DLC on the game store. Epic hasn't shared what other games will be free for the duration of the sale, but the company typically gives away four free games.

The Epic Games Store Mega Sale is until June 16. You can get up to 75% discounts on over 1,600 games and add-ons, including titles like Ghostwire: Tokyo, Far Cry 6, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, etc. There's even a single 25% off coupon on a game of your choice.

‘Borderlands 2’ is coming to the PlayStation VR

If you’re a fan of Borderlands 2 and own a PlayStation VR, you’re going to like this news. 2K and Gearbox Software just announced that it’ll be bringing the 2012 game to Sony’s virtual reality platform. Borderlands 2 VR will retail for US$49.99 and will come to the US on December 14th. The game will include the original campaign as well as the original four playable Vault Hunters. This time around though it’ll be single player.

There are going to be some VR-specific new tricks, though. One is called Bad Ass Mega Fun Time or BAMF Time, for short. This will let you slow the speed of the game to give them time to plan attacks. You’ll also be able to teleport around the map and drive in vehicles from a first-person perspective. Borderlands 2 VR will also support Sony’s PlayStation Move motion controllers.
