Google Canvas lets you doodle right from your browser

You can think of Google’s new web app as a web-based version of Microsoft Paint. Called Chrome Canvas, this web app works on browsers that support WebAssembly (which include Chrome and Firefox). Just type in canvas.apps.chrome in the address bar to launch the app. It’s a place where you can doodle or take down notes without much fuss. It sticks to the basics for now with only a handful of tools with varying opacities and widths. It also has a colour palette that lets you pick from any hex tone.

Your work will automatically save to your Google account and the sketches will be exported in PNG. You can revisit these doodles on whatever device can access your Google account. Chromebook owners can install canvas right into your app drawer by just tapping on the three-dot menu and selecting “Install Canvas” option.
