Released earlier this year, the HTC One remains one of the best Android smartphones in the market today in almost every aspect. Rogers to exclusively launch the HTC One mini on November 4th

The HTC One is the best phone many of you don't already own. Arguably the best built Android phone to ever hit the market (and most comparable to the iPhone in design) and offering the best sound in its class, Rogers has announced today that they will launch a smaller iteration of this popular smartphone. Packed with a 4.3-inch display and powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual-core 1.4 GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, the Ultrapixel camera and similar aluminum and plastic construction, the HTC One mini is truly a condensed version of HTC's flagship One.

Launching exclusively with Rogers on November 4th. Stay tuned for pricing when it is known.

Poll: HTC One is the Canadian Reviewer reader's choice for best smartphone

Our readers have spoken and voted on the HTC One as the best smartphone right now with 116 votes out of 370 (31.35% of the votes). Second is the iPhone 5 with 75 votes (20.27 % of the votes) which isn't bad at all for a model that is almost a year old. Third place was the Samsung Galaxy S4 (with 67 votes or 18.11 %). By choosing the HTC One, readers have shown that they are keen on quality materials, great functionality and features. HTC One and iPhone 5 also represent two of the best crafted handsets in the market today and this is clearly a priority with users. The innovation and feature set of Samsung's flagship Galaxy S4 scored big with readers as well.

HTC One likely to come in blue too

While the black variant of HTC's flagship HTC One smartphone is just starting to be made available through certain Canadian carriers, we've already seen a red and now a blue variant possibly coming to market. Proving once more that phone colour options are a thing for smartphones this year (see iPhone 5C, Moto X), HTC is obliging user's need for a little variety in their devices. Personally, I still think the original silver colour looks the best but here's to diversity.
