Google helps you put together a quick Mother’s Day clip from your Photos library

Thinking about what to get your mom this coming Mother’s Day? Google wants to help you take a trip down memory lane by helping you assemble a short clip celebrating your mom. While it would be better to get her an actual gift, adding this on will be a nice touch. All you need to do is head to this Google Photos’ page and identify your mom as well as you and your siblings (if you have any). The app will then compile your photos and create the video slideshow for you. When it’s done, it can then be saved on your desktop or mobile phone or be shared on social media.

SickKids Hospital highlights strength in Moms in latest campaign

The Hospital for Sick Children (aka SickKids) in Toronto is somewhere you don't want to visit unless you need to...but also find comfort in knowing it's there. I've had my fair share of visits filled with worry, sleepless nights and raging tears...as a child, mom, friend, and volunteer. But each time I am eternally grateful with the compassion, care, and patience of doctors, nurses, and staff, as well as the state of the art facilities.This world-renowned hospital is a very special place. 

As Mother's Day approaches, SickKids has launched a new SickKids VS campaign (created by Cossette Canada) to honour moms. The concept called "Breakdown" continues to feature the fierceness of their patience, families and staff.

Apple’s new ‘Shot on iPhone’ ad honors moms

A week ahead of Mother’s Day, Apple’s new “Shot on iPhone” ad pays tribute to one of the most important people in your life, your mom. It shows a collection of images and videos of mothers interacting with their children. Underneath each photo or clip is the name of the amateur iPhone user who captured the moment.

You can also now add a photo of your mom to the Mother’s Day film for a personal touch.
