LG goes full-metal with new Urbane smartwatch

LG’s Android Wear smartwatch line just got classier with the new LG Watch Urbane. The smartwatch will be making its debut at Mobile World Congress 2015. It still has the same 1.3-inch full circle P-OLED display of the G Watch R but this time it has a narrower bezel and sleeker, full metal design. It brings the classic looks of a timepiece with technology from Google. The Urbane will be available in polished silver and gold and will be complemented by a stitched natural leather strap.

The Urbane also runs on 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, and 410mAh battery. It is also dust and water resistant (IP67 rating). No word yet on the price or availability. We should find out more about this at MWC.

Photo leak hints at 5 variants of Samsung Galaxy S6

Rumours have been circulating for a while that there would be more than one version of the Samsung Galaxy S6. But a new alleged leaked photo that CNET Korea got their hands on shows five different variants of Samsung’s upcoming flagship. The one on the far left looks like the traditional look of a Galaxy device; while the one on the far right looks similar to the Galaxy Note Edge. The second one from the right also looks like it has a curved edge screen. The other two devices come with casings. The second one to the left is protected by a Verus cover (a popular case maker in South Korea); while the one in the center seems to have a thicker case but it can’t be told if it’s also made from Verus.

Of course, these are all just rumours at the moment. But if you just wait a bit more, it is said Samsung will be unveiling its newest flagship at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on March 1.

In case you've been planning what color option of the Samsung Galaxy S6 you will get, a tipster seems to have given SamMobile information on the new colors. It would reportedly be available in dark blue, blue-green, gold, and white. There doesn't seem to be a black option though, which is usually a default choice. Now, we just have to wait for MWC to see what the specific shades would be. And if these rumoured color options are spot on.

Leaked images, details of HTC One M9 smartphone emerge

HTC is expected to be releasing the successor to the HTC One M8 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The updated flagship expects to carry on the look and feel of its predecessors while adding a new 20 megapixel rear camera. Some images claiming to be photos of a pre-release unit have surfaced, giving us a sneak peek at what to expect.

We've also heard that this handset will be packing some powerful specs starting with a Snapdragon 810 chipset with Adreno 430 GPU based on an octa-core processor. 3GB of RAM and a 5-inch 1080p HD display plus a 2,840mAh battery round out the specs of this phone which is expected to run Android Lollipop under the latest HTC Sense 7 UI. The photos do show many similarities to the HTC One (M8) but that rear camera looks more imposing thant the Ultrapixel shooter from previous HTC Ones.
