OnePlus 8T's low-light camera performance gets teased

Samsung shot taken with the OnePlus 8T (Source: OnePlus)

OnePlus has been working to improve the camera performance on its phones recently. And it looks like it's carrying that tradition on with the upcoming OnePlus 8T. One area it's improving on is its low-light shooting capability. The company teased a cityscape photo taken at dawn. While the picture looks a bit over-sharpened, you do see a fair amount of detail and excellent colour reproduction, too.

The OnePlus 8T is rumoured to be getting the OnePlus 8 Pro's primary camera, which is good news, if true. On top of that, the handset is rumoured to get a 120Hz display sans curves, a faster 65-watt charging system, and more. OnePlus will be launching the 8T on October 14.

OnePlus 8T will launch on Oct. 14

OnePlus 8T will succeed this OnePlus 8 Pro

OnePlus has consistently released a T-branded version of its flagship devices. And with the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, that is holding true, seven months later. The OnePlus 8T will be introduced during an October 14th digital event at 10 am ET / 7 am PT over at oneplus.com/launch. The company promises "new and improved technologies," with features it hasn't shipped on other OnePlus devices before and adds the words Ultra Stops at Nothing in its teasers. The OnePlus 8T succeeds the OnePlus Nord, the company's "return to the midrange" segment.
