The OnePlus Nord LE will be owned by only one person

The OnePlus Nord gets an exclusive variant. It's so exclusive that it'll only go to one person. And that person won't be able to buy it. The brand is giving away the OnePlus Nord LE on Instagram. The LE stands for "Literally Only One Edition." It comes in "a gradient that smoothly transitions from orange to green." And unlike the regular OnePlus Nord's glossy finish, it has a smooth one.

Aside from having a different colourway, it features the same specs as the OnePlus Nord. It runs on a Snapdragon 765G processor and comes with a 90Hz AMOLED display, 4,115mAh battery with 30W charging, and a 48-megapixel quad camera setup.

The link to OnePlus' announcement of its release is a forum thread inviting people to share wrong answers about the smartwatch's possible features. Those who share wildly off-base "drawings, renders, descriptions, videos" might stand a chance to take home a free watch.

OnePlus event announcement for Mar. 8 teases 'moonshot' photo

OnePlus is all set to announce its new flagship next week on March 8. Expected to be called the OnePlus 9 series, the teaser site features a photo of the moon and the words "Something new is on the horizon."

The Verge mentioned the picture looks quite similar to the famous Earthrise photograph of the Apollo 8 mission, which was shot with a Hasselblad camera. The significance of that is that OnePlus is reportedly working with the 180-year-old Swedish camera maker for its upcoming phones.
